The Agriculture & Food Council is excited to partner with Olds College to deliver the course, “Processed Meats to Meet Canadian Food Safety Regulations.” This course aims to enhance food safety during the production of cured and fermented meats. It can be difficult to apply current Canadian Regulations to the art of curing and fermenting meat, but Brad McLeod from Olds has developed methods and knows how to get you to an outstanding product.
The course will be delivered in 4 locations throughout Alberta in February.
- February 10-12 at NAIT in Edmonton: SOLD OUT
- February 17-19 at the Canadian Beef Centre of Excellence in Calgary
- February 24-26 at Lethbridge College in Lethbridge
- March 3-5 at Olds College in Olds
The cost includes hands on instruction, lunches for Saturday and Sunday plus snacks and a certificate of completion. Register soon as there are a limited number of tickets available.
