What do you think are the three best qualities of Alberta"s agriculture and food industry?

Alberta is blessed with some of the most entrepreneurial and inventive farmers and food processors in the country.  People with a "Can Do" attitude have continually pushed the boundaries of cropping all the way from the irrigation areas in the south to the northern reaches of the Peace River.  Value chains have developed between growers and processors that continue to test consumer acceptance for a safe and reliable food supply.

What attracted you to become involved with the Agriculture and Food Council? 

Ag and Food Council has allowed me to interact with some great people and learn more about our industry.  I was interested in giving back to agriculture but have found the experience to be so personally rewarding that I hardly feel like I'm giving at all.

What aspect of the Agriculture and Food Council makes you most pleased to be involved with the organization? 

AFC provides a focal point for all sectors with ag and food to come together to solve problems and plan for growth.
