The Alberta Value Chain Initiative
As a catalyst for the agriculture and food industry, the value chain initiative helps to apply and develop value chains throughout the province, nation, and internationally in retail and food service markets. The initiative is a leader in the delivery of information and educational materials, introducing strategic initiatives aimed at building best practices in Canada. It also helps in development of successful pilot projects between business leaders developing value chains.
Environmental Policy Initiative Project (EPIP)
The EPIP committee is pursuing policy work related to environmental issues affecting long-term growth and sustainability of the agri-food industry.
