4.  Food Service Value Chain Program


Innovation in food service requires every link in the chain to become part of the collaboration process, ensuring improved product innovations and streamlined kitchen processes. This program aims to establish value chains with food service chains, explore collaboration between food service operators, processors and suppliers, and others involved in these innovations.


Program:
  • Assist Alberta processors and producers in the development of their food service value chain pilot, working with regional and national food service chains
  • Re-align the chain to accelerate innovation and product differentiation to address the changing needs of the consumer
