What do you think are the three best qualities of Alberta’s agriculture and food industry?

Its ability to change and adapt to the changing needs of the world’s food demands; its diversity of climatic regions within the province; the diversity and innovativeness of crops, animals and food producers in Alberta

What attracted you to become involved with the Agriculture and Food Council?

Having worked in the agriculture industry all my life, it was a natural interest area for me. When I was invited to sit on the IAMF Action Team as an industry representative, I was very pleased and learned a lot more about the work of the Council. My interest only grew from there.

What aspect of the Agriculture and Food Council makes you most pleased to be involved with the organization?

I enjoyed the challenge of moving forward with a new strategic plan for the Council and how it will help guide the industry into the future.
