Partnerships with Government

The Agriculture and Food Council of Alberta (AFC) has enjoyed long-standing and mutually-beneficial relationships with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) and Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development (ARD). The input from both senior levels of government has proven very valuable to AFC in fulfilling its mandate.

	The Council is pleased to have successfully managed several funding programs in Alberta on behalf of AAFC, as well as sharing ideas and participating together in many projects to benefit Alberta’s agriculture and food industry.
	AFC is also fortunate to have collaborated on many projects and programs with ARD over the years as we each work toward the objective of a profitable and sustainable Alberta agriculture and food industry.

The Council is looking forward to continuing these productive relationships in the future.
