Launched in 2015, the Functional Foods & Bioactives Network (FFBNetwork) is a provincial initiative centred at the Agriculture & Food Council (AFC) aimed at advancing Alberta's functional foods and bioactives sectors by developing a network of strategic interests to aid in the commercialization of Alberta-grown & refined functional foods, functional food ingredients, and bioactive products. About the Project Manager, FFBNetwork
Reporting to AFC’s Executive Director, the FFBNetwork Project Manager provides strategic input, networking expertise, extension activities, and policy direction for the FFBNetwork. This position will deliver on the FFBNetworks's primary mandate to support Alberta's research community, industry, and other partners in cultivating Alberta's functional foods and bioactives sector. The Project Manager will work with government agencies, entrepreneurs, companies, production facilities, and regulatory/export agencies to promote the growth and development of successful products.
